Here againg in English

Hi everybody today I’m going to talk about my experience with learning English in the university and about the use of the blog for to do it. I think that my learning in English have been very good because the practice all weeks in this language is very useful for improve my vocabulary and my grammar. I can talk with my classmates in English and learn more about meaning of the different words and how to say different sentences.

I've missed a lot of classes because I have gone to dentist and like the dentist is a student he just had hours in the schedule of English. This has been very bad for my learning because I lose the connection between one class and the next class. For this reason I pretend don’t lose more classes and practice more in the platform of English for improve more my English because is very important the practice for talk and write good in this language. Also I want approve this subject and for to achieve it I need study and practice more.

Outside of English class I don’t use much English because the people of my country don’t talk in this language, also It’s very difficult know somebody that understand or talk in English. For the other hand I don’t have time for talk all things in English but could be a part of my goal to improve my English talk more times in the week in English.

All things that I’m going to do for improve my English is because I want to communicate with other people in this language, know other people that know this language and use this language in my career.

Hi, today I’m going to talk about the environmental friendly practices. 

The first thing that I want to say is that people can learn always more about the environmental friendly practices, for example in the internet you can find information about this or through society net you can get more information, also there are blogs, pages and organizations dedicated to environmental friendly practices.

I have incorporated recycling into my habits, such as each month in my house we recollect plastic bags that and paper, then we give plastics bags to a man that sell them to recycling company and paper we carry to recycling point that is in a commercial center, also we use compost for plants that is make in base of organic wastes. Another thing that I try do every day is walk to everywhere but I haven´t could replace the public transport or car because all days I need travel a long distance to University. I haven´t joined or supported any eco-organisations because I think that this involve much time, although that I would like to do more things related to recycling for example I would like use biogas in my house.

Regard to actions that I have done to reduce my carbon foot print I want to say that I can´t reduce more our foot prints because in my house electronics things are used only when we need them.

I think that missing in our society is more education for children, awareness and responsibility in adults.

The good things

Hi today I’m going to talk about the good things that happen in this year in my life.

In this year I learnt so much and this have been so good for me because I have learnt about my carrier, dentistry, and I like this. Specifically I learnt about how to make mixture of dentistry cement, how to make that cement hardens and how make a cavity for amalgam.  That  has been so great for me. I’m very happy because each day I can learn more about my carrier. I like so much this carrier and I want learn more every day about it.

The situation that did not so well is that I haven’t been able to study faster and memorizing more easily the things, meanings or terms of specifically of anatomy. This subject is very difficult for me and I want improve my marks of it. But one of my achievements for this year was approve anatomy in the first semester and I have managed this.

The thing that I haven’t done jet is distribute better my time and do that I need when I have the time for it.  But I work in this aspect for improve my quality of life.

The last new that made me very happy was that a couple very likes by me going to marry in the last days of this month. That was a nice new because they going to have a son. I hope that they won’t have any problem and that year continue be more good.

Fast food

Hi! Today I'm going to talk about a topic that in actual society is very recurrent because is the mainspring of obesity in the world, fast food.

When I thought in fast food I remembered when I felt happy because, when I ate a hotdog or pizza generally I was with other people like my family or friends. However in last time I has learned about how eat healthy food, because my mom began to read a book about healthy life and food. This was maybe about a two or three years ago and since there we, like family, began to eat healthier.

I learn about how to make food very taste with healthy things like vegetables or pulses and why is very important eat healthy food. But maybe the most important thing that I learned was that fast food is so bad because it involves so much process that make that our bodies begin be sick and the more simply explanation is that this food has elements that our bodies don’t need. For example an excess of oil our bodies convert it in fatty fat that make we fatten. In that’s why I began to eat healthy food.  

Now I start to do yoga in the university and in this way I understand more about healthy life. I think that is very important do exercise and eat healthy all time that you can because in this way your body keep healthy. I try don’t eat fast food because a healthy body mean a healthy mind and I need a healthy mind for study all that I need in the university.

The story that we select is about a man called Walidmir that has a Poland Syndrome. That syndrome causes absence of some muscles of upper side of his body and congenital amputation of some fingers. He has gone to Teletón since he had two months old.

Now a physiologist called Jorge zúñiga made a hand of plastic whit a three dimensions printer for Wladimir. This hand cost twenty five dollars and is more comfortable because is most light and have a similar structure of a real hand.

This topic interested me because recently in physics we have a seminary of how to make a tooth with three dimensions printer for our job like a dentist. Of course that is a new technology and is very useful for make models teeth for do studies of mechanicals effects on it. Know that with the same form of printer other people can help other people is very good news because this fact make that people like Wladimir can be most happy and have a better life. Also the fact that cost of process of production of a prosthesis is lower that other prosthesis is really good news, because that could help so much people that really need a form of make yours lives better.

I don’t know if this fact has a controversial issues but I think that is fantastic that people that need any prosthesis can access more easily to those.

Oral Implantology

Today I’m going to talk about my future job.

Well, today I’m studying Dentistry at University, so I imagine myself in the future like a dentist in a public hospital exercised the profession that I chose. Consequentially I’m going work indoors all my time like a professional. But of course that I could travel to other places, I’m going feel very happy, because I always wanted know other cultures or even places of my country, like Atacama, Isla de Pascua or Magallanes. I could work in all places where there is a hospital. Maybe I could be an air dentist like air doctors that fly in their plane to far places for compensate absence of specialist. In my case the specialty is dentistry.

My future work is made especially in a “dental box” that is a place in a hospital with all things for make the treatment to patient. I’m thinking that my major could be Oral Implantology, because this major is about return smile to toothless people and I think this job is very rewarding. Maybe I’m going to do this major because is about adults and I`m so bad with children. Also because I think this job is very interesting, entertainment and all days will be different to others days. But the main cause of my choice is for the work people that not smile because are toothless. I think this job going to the best job for me.

My favorite artist

Hello, today I´m going to talk about mi favorite artist, Silvio Rodriguez.

Silvio Rodríguez Domínguez is a songwriter, guitarist and Cuban poet, characteristic exponent of the music of his country emerged with the Cuban Revolution, known as the Nueva Trova Cubana, shared with other famous singers such as Pablo Milanes, Noel Nicola and Vicente Feliu. He was awarded, along with Joan Manuel Serrat as the best Hispanic singer of the second half of the twentieth century, and in 1997 his music was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.

I listen this artist since I born because my dady listened him. With his music I grew. I have so much memories of my chilhood. I like music of Silvio because I feel so happy, quiet and in pace. Also I listen to Silvio even now because the letters of his songs are very interesting and make me think in what is the really meaning of the songs. I think that Silvio isn’t the best singer of the world but his tone of voice I really special and his feel, way of play guitar and his letters are so good.

My favorite song of Silvio is “Playa girón” because is a song with tow meanings. The first meaning is related a win of a war of revolutionary Cubans against of exiled Cubans, supported by United States, in “Bahía de cochinos” in a beach called “Playa girón”. The second meaning is a dedication to some men that worked in a boat called “Playa girón” where Silvio work one year. Also I like this songs because I feel the simplicity of human, that is only a human, all whit different qualities, but all are human that have an own vision of the things and that is so difficult judge each action of other people.

Pichidangui beach

Hi! Today I’m going to talk about my holidays in the summer of 2013. In this holiday I went to Pichidangui beach for a week with my family.

In that week we rested so much. We slept very much in all days in the beach. We only made food for the lunch and then we went to the beach. Also we swam very much and walked in the wet sand. We carried water bottles long as we thought that we needed it for go to the beach.  But if we had had freshwater in the beach, we would have left the water bottle in the cottage of course!

This holiday was good because we didn’t need to worry about the tent or the thieves in the camping. Then we could rest one hundred percent because all our things were safe in the cottage with the kippers that were owner of this place. If I had a cottage in Pichidangui, I would go every weekend to this beach because is a great place for rest.

The things of this place that I like more are the calm water in the beach, windsurf and blonde sand that shine in the floor. I love Pichidangui and when I can, I come back.

Detective Conan

In Unites States is known like a Case Closed. I saw this cartoon when I had free time in my house after the school but when my father stayed in the house I couldn’t see it because He said that the Japanese cartoon were bad. Sometimes I could see the cartoon when I didn’t have homework and when my father saw the cartoon with me and realized that the Japanese cartoon wasn’t really bad. I saw it in Chilevision channel.

This cartoon is about a teenager called Shin'ichi Kudō that fell in love with Ran Mouri but in secret. A day when he saw a strange transaction of black men he was attacked from behind and he was given a poison (APTX 4869) in order to kill him. But he changed to a child of six or seven years old. Then he begins to resolves case of his dad, a famous detective but without his dad known. Then appear more characters and the topic becomes more interesting with for example FBI.

I like this cartoon because I think is interesting because is about spies and technology.

Finally I think that cartoons definitely aren’t only for child, because If I could see cartoons, I would do it, because is funny!

CUBA

Hi everybody! Today I’m going to talk about Cuba because I would like to go there.

Cuba is an island country located in the Caribbean. This place has much sunny days, virtually all places have beach and you can swim all day. Obviously you can rest because the people are very relaxed and the environment is relaxed. Also I would like drink coco water for taste it.

Another thing that I like of Cuba is the dance. I would like learn some of their dance because I think that is very entertaining dance. But specific I like the salsa or guaracha cubana, this dance I would like to learn. Also I would like know the rain in a hot day and eat fried banana with other food.

The think that I give me more curiously is how the people live in a Communist system, and how is the public health. They have a very good health system and the professionals are very good then I like to know more about system of care for patients.
